Ranger mudflaps "Info Please"

Hi their RF members, I am in the mist of getting a set, but I am a little confused as to which are the oem, i HVE SEEN MEMBERS with flaps that have the (RANGER) logo on them, and i have seen others that are just black, which I assume is stock. Right? please post some pics, where you got them, and pricing which really does not matter, thank you kindly

I might have the stockers off of my truck yet. You would just need to get hardware. Let me take a look.

The ones that came on my 06 have Ranger on them...just depends on the year model. You would need the support bracket too

There is a kit from Ford. It comes with 4 mud flaps 4 bracket and a package of hardware of screws and plastic anchors to hold the brackets to the frame. The instruction were on the paper that was wrapped around the mud flaps in the kit. If you need a few more pictures let me know, I'll g and take a few closer ones of the brackets.

I guess this is about the best pic I have of them. I don't know how they would fit on your truck due to the fender flares. If you want to pay for shipping, you can have them. I wouldn't be able to get started on this until at least Monday cuz of Easter. I will get you better pics of them also.

What's the kit worth from the dealership?

Interesting , I would love to see more pics with the ranger sign on them, I don't care anymore if mine don't have the ranger sign, I just want some clean ones.

May I ask, did you go to the dealer and inquire or go to Ford's website? On the website there is only sets of two, rear only. My truck came with 2 rear flaps. I want two front. With out looking too closely it looks like the one's made for the rear would fit on the front. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

It was a dealer part, a few pieces left over when I was done. I had to remove those small plastic stone guards. They are held on by two face tape, a little WD-40 to get the sticky stuff off. They can only go on the correct panel. The four metal brackets hold the mud flaps from bending back so they only go with the matching mud flap. This was a long time ago...where have you been???? Do you need closer pictures??? My buddy has an 05 STX with that Mazda bed on it. He had some weird mud flaps on the back but none on the front. I got him a set and still have the rears for spares.

I've asked at two different dealers myself for some to go on my 2011 extra cab. Their response was Ford didn't offer them. Those are the exact ones I want too in your pic.

I got them in 08 from a Ford dealership, then again a few moths later for my buddy's STX. I took some pictures of the front to show you they can't be swapped front to back...they are different. The part # on the kit is, F87Z-16A550-CAA.
Like I said that was from 08, maybe they don't make that kit anymore??? I "googled" that part number and it seems to be available still. Look on Ford Parts Giant.com. I seen them there for about $50, lots on Amazon and E-bay.
Good Luck...

I found one on Ebay and called the dealer that was selling it, swore it wouldn't fit a 2011. I asked what changed on the front fenders because I knew the bed didn't and he didn't have an answer or seem to care enough to look it up. I have to go to the dealer next week with a dash rattle anyway, so I'll harass the parts department while they fix it.

Thank you both. I always like to do a little research before going to a "stealership." I'd much rather purchase anonymously. Even when buying the truck I don't like going. I spoke to a friend in the interim whose brother works as a mechanic at a dealership. He confirmed they make them, just don't stock them. I'll check out the part numbers and see what I can do before I go in face to face.
