Ranger questions and updates

Hey guys, man it's been slow around here! Someone crash or something! (not really, drive safe)

Anyway, I am in my full swing of summer truck work and here is my list or questions and comments:

Timing belt in a few weeks via a buddy while I am out of town. I bought a water pump for him to put in while he has is apart today. Should I have him do the thermostat also?

Undercoating. Yippee. What a mess on my driveway. Welcome to rust-belt, saltville, oh.

Is $330 a good deal for a 8.8 inch 4.10 L/S out of a 03 FX4 Level II (for sure a Torsen)? I found one about 15 minutes away at a junk yard that I am getting ready to jump on.

If I decide to get a new two-tone paint job should I get the newer Redfire Metallic with Dark Shadow Gray or stick with my factory Toreador Red Metallic with Dark Shadow Gray?

Which bumper/valence mix should I go with? 01-05 chrome bumper with 04-05 square fogs or a painted 06+ bumper with 06-07 square foglights?

And what side mirrors should I do? Defiantly 06+ but should I get chrome caps or painted caps.

Where can I get new OEM leaf springs from? Mine are super saggy, plus I need to so the shackle hangers soon anyway.

See what I mean about out it being dead.

Let me reword and emphasize my two MAIN questions:

I'm about to buy that Torsen tomorrow. Wish me luck. Hope it's a good price.

Sounds like a good enough deal if everything is in good shape. Pull the cover off if you can before you buy just to check it out! You'd likely be better off to find a spring shop and have them make you up a new spring pack.

Cool. It's got 110k on it so it's no baby but I'm sure it's fine.
