Ranger s10 brush guard question

So I am interested in buying a Brush guard for my 99 Ranger but i am still VERY new to the pickup world so bear with me. I have found a pretty nice Manik Brush guard a local guy is selling for $150. He said he had originally purchased it for an S-10 but it SHOULD fit a ranger. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is true. Naturally i am not going to just take some random dudes opinion on it before driving an hour to get it. i have done a little searching around and couldnt find a good yes or no answer, I would greatly appreciate any info you can offer.

Sorry, I know it is a terrible picture, but i figure it probably would help
Thanks
Phil

Its hard to say if it will fit or not. You know anyone with an s-10? Do some measuring.

If I had to guess, i'd say it prob won't fit right. I have a manik guard on mine and it looks a bit different. The part that covers the headlights looks like it is slanted up slightly.

Ask the guy if he has a part number. Then do more research. I think Manik went out of business a few years ago though

If they did go out of business, I'd check with another company...

Find the part number for a model that fits an S10, then find the part number for a model that fits a Ranger. If they're the same, you're in luck.

I doubt it will work without modifications though

Yeah....

I stumbled upon a mini-flea market last month and saw a tool box for sale. I ask him what it came off of and he said it was from an F250, but it should fit my Ranger stepside.

Yeah.................. i walked away fast.

Probably won't fit all that great and for $150 its probably not worth fixing. Keep looking and you will find something.

I would pass. The brackets won't match and you have to factory fuel to go get the thing.

Ok so first off, Thankyou for all of the responses they have been quite helpful. The guy got back to me with the model number. 928850 I will try and find out if it would fit and or how much it will cost to make it work. Either way I'm gonna see if he will take less.
