Ranger vs. Big Boy Toy

Weird title, I know. But I was just wondering if anyone minded helping me put together a pros/cons list between the following.
*This is mud riding just fyi, and I'd hopefully go once or twice a week; I plan to do a 4 in lift and hopefully put some 34s under it. As for mods, lower gears, Locker, winch,HD bumper, RPs, and a rollbar.

3rd Gen Ranger
4.0 L Cologne V6
4x4
Extended Cab

10th Gen F150
5.4 L Triton V8
4x4
Extended Cab

Chevrolet CK(Mid to late 90s)
5.7 L V8
4x4
Extended Cab

When they get stuck, the get STUCK
Not as MPG effiecient

RANGER
Pros:

Hmm.... so you want Pros/Cons for a Mud Truck comparing an F-150 to a Ranger.

First thing I'd need to know is what are you going to do the truck once you get it?

I mean if you are going to tear the whole thing apart and build it back up with axles, boggers, and the works, it doesn't matter which you buy.

If however, you are doing a simple just buy and then play when you can type method, a couple things worth mentioning. 1) On this site, your probably going to get overwhelmingly responded with Rangers (afterall it is a Ranger site).

2) I would pick a Ranger. Full sizes are just a pain out on the trail. Your one con of "Can't Handle things that Fullsize's can" doesnt' really make sense either. Like what? It terms of trail running a FX4 is probably just as capable in a Ranger version of an F-150 version. The only thing that a Fullsize gets you is more towing capacity. Not really a big necessity on the trails.

The not as powerful part? You don't necessarily need a big ol' V8 to run trails. Just good gearing and driving capability.

I will be editing my posts to clarify on some things. Thanks for your input though. :)
