That being said a jeep would outwheel a ranger if they put the same amount of money into it, its just plain cheaper to build a jeep than a ranger.
Ive seen stock ZJs beat up on modified rangers before. They have more ground clearance, being a SA helps a lot too. If I remember right the turning radius was awesome on the jeep.

The IFS just does not flex, and the ranger just sits really low, seems like the frame was always hitting.

Hope your locked or limited slip at least. I think most jeeps are locked in 4-lo, at least both of mine are.

I myself have ridden in a pretty stock tj except it was on 31's and I will have to admit, the thing suprised me in a good way. I cant believe we are compairing a ranger to a tj lol.

But with that being said, imo, the wrangler has got to be the most impractical car/truck thing ever. For day to day use, the ranger > wrangler.

Yeah the smart ones put an Expo 8.8 under there.

As for Jeepers running them, I guarantee that none are swapping out a D44 for an 8.8. Ditching the D35 is a no brainer, that axle is about as useless as the ford 7.5.....though I have found a good use for the D35 "boat anchor".....

Oh yeah agree no one would swap out there D44 for an 8.8 but yeah they are damn close in strength.

I have that mailbox haha. It doesn't look like that but the box is the same!! Anyone who gets boxes all the time has to have one. I totally want to do that with my 7.5 now.
