Rear End Fixed

k i just figured id start a new thread. this is in response to the 'im so mad' thread. well, its fixed. heres some pics and, the day we finished it, we actually went to my friends work and "borrowed" this tool. its like this hydraulic pump thing. its basically a manual jaws of life. it has two teeth that open up with i think it was 1ton power or something. but that did the trick. we had to cut the frame actually, because all that stretched metal had nowhere to go. but, bent it back, and welded it back up. we had to shim the one side because is just wouldne go any further.heres all the pics, before and after.

either your hangers been bent out of what or your shackle or bolts that hold it got bent but they are not straight looking at all.

did you even put the truck on a frame jig?

I'm with Mark No sense risking it. Your frame looks nasty. Time for some clean up and paint.

You'll lose 1"...

your stock blocks = 2.5"

belltech 6400's = 1.5" of lift

put in stock 2" 2wd EDGE blocks....then do the belltech 6400 shackles...that'll net you 1/2" of lift from where you are right now. OR...try and find 08+ 4x4 blocks(1.5) AND the 6400 shackles and you'll be at the same height you are at right now. at least approximate.

ok i really dont understant this ****.

right now i have ONLY 3" blocks, so what will the belltech 6400's do with this setup? equals 4.5" total right?

but if i put my STOCK blocks back in, in addition to the 3", that will be a total of 6.5" correct?

do it, toss another 4" one on top of the 2" on that's gonna go on top of the 3" on, then some beltechs and you'll be like 9.5" in the back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off, quit smoking that ****!

Second, put your stock blocks in and put the shackles on, it's that simple, throw the 3" blocks away or do whatevathe**** you want to do with them.

Then you'll be where you are now, without the Autozone death trap blocks.

OP....spray the bed between the tailgate and thebumper...mask the bed floor and spray on the black paint...i'd prime it first of course. it'd look alot better from behind.
