rearend help

rearend help

hey guys i just got a 96 exploer lsd rearend with the rear disk.i am planing on putting it in a 96 mazda b4000. i am just wondering what is all needed to do this sawp and if it is hard.

It should bolt right up, except the exploder axle has the leaf sping under the axle, whereas the ranger's is spring over. So if you want the back lower it'll bolt right up, or you'll have to reweld the spring perches on top of the axle

well i am lowering the truck so it will work out just right that was 1 of my qustions to just for got to put it in

Well since you're lowering it you're set. Like I said, it should bolt right up. I think it sticks out like 3/4 farther on each side though

I thought the perch width was slightly differnt

Nah, I'm positive it's in the exact same spot, just under the axle instead of over it. There's a writeup somewhere
