Same thing here. I love the look of regular cab, be it lowered OR lifted. My first Ranger was a regular cab, then my dad baught an ext. cab and I couldn't believe the difference that little bit of space made. So I got the FX4. I could never go back to reg cab for everyday use!

You need an extended cab for that run to the beer store. I wouldn't trust a case of beer in the back of my bed.

Here is an extended cab im looking at, and the good thing is that its only about an hour away, compared to the others being 2 hrs away, and the price is pretty good too.

the only reg cab i'd ever force myself to like would be a Lightning.

even in my extended cab i wish i had more room.

I've owned 4 rangers and this is my first Reg Cab. I think it looks better, but it's really a pain if there is more than 1 person in the cab.

I'm already thinking about upgrading to a 2007 Ext cab.........

Well, we went by today and looked at the truck i posted above. I was alittle dissappointed........from the pics, it looked nice, but when we looked at it, it had several scratches, and a few dings, a couple dents on the bed, the window gaskets that hold the Extended cab glass in was all faded, and really rough.....the interior was pretty clean........the a/c worked, engine ran fine........the lid on the arm rest wouldn't close. Not very impressed with the truck.......guess i'll keep looking.

not only an extended cab but a 4 door is best. I hear a lot of extended cab 2 door people say they wish they had the 4 door. By 4 door i mean the extended cab has the 2 little half doors that open backwards.

I'm not worried about it moving, I can tie it down. I'm worried about it getting jacked! :)

If you have a tonneau cover, thats' fine, but now you have the pain of opening and closing it to get whatever you need. Might not be so bad for yours, but mine is a soft cover rollup.
