anyone here have a compustar remote start on their ranger?

got money for christmas with the stipulation it has to go towards a remote starter. which im totally cool with since i need one lol.

theres a guy in town that sells/installs them, my brother has one from him on his chevy and has had no problems.

just want some insight if anyone has one on a ranger.

 

I have one. You will have to buy the PATS bypass module to go with the remote starter.

 

Yep. I was qouted $328 for the starter, bypass, install and keyless entry integration.

Just want to know if people have used a compustar system in a ranger. I know sometimes certain brands don't like some makes/models.
