Removing the subs and amp
In order to do this must I remove the wiring from the battery or just pull the amp and box out. My first guess is to remove the fuse and leave the wiring in the truck, but would this cause any problems.
If you're removing stereo equipment then just remove the fuse inline to the amplifier. That's all you have to do to safely do any wiring for your stereo. If the fuse is out, nothing else will be affected and the wiring can stay in place and won't do anything but sit there unused.
Yeah what they said. I had mine all naked for a while between set-ups, now everything is all set up again but only to my door speakers. I took out the sub because I needed the room when my daughter got here.
