Good buffer to remove scratches?

I am looking for a good inexpensive buffer and compound to remove some scratches on my truck. I was thinking about just going to harbor freight and picking one up because they usually have good prices.

Also, what kind of compound should I use when applying?

the porta cable is the best buffer out their im not sure on the other ones get one with adustable speed control tho

i use this Meguiar's Direct Fine Cut Cleaner

the follow it by Meguiar's Direct Machine Glaze -

then finish it with a good coat of wax. i use meguiars nxt wax are gold class both are good waxes
