Replace headlight

Replace headlight

Hello. I am a new Ranger owner and my used 2007 Ranger did no come with a manual.
Can anyone give me some help on how to replace the headlight. thanks

open the hood and look behind the headlight that is burned out. You will see two metal tabs that are sort of like an upside down L shape. Pull them straight up (they might be on pretty snug) and the light will come loose. Pull the light out a bit and that will give you access to the bulbs. Simply unhook the wires going to the bulb, twist out the bulb and replace.

Reassembly is the reverse. Put the light in, line up the pegs on the back of the light with the mounting holes then slip those little L bracket tabs back over the pegs.
