Replacement bed floor panel? Repair floor panel for the bed

Anyone know anything about replacing this bed panel sheet?
I can take out all the bolts but it still looks like it may be welded or something

anyone ever remove or replace theirs ?

Why replace it?

That seam by your pinky finger that runs all the way to the front, probably has 20 to 30 spot welds, + the other side.
That seam across the back, 15 to 20 spot welds + front.
Then you have the all cross braces, another 100 spot welds.

A body shop would charge well over $2000 to just replace, not including prep and paint.

From what I can see of it, it's in good shape and not worth replacing.

You would be better off finding a good bed and replacing it.

man, very well put

well I’m restoring this truck right,
and I had an old 73 f350 from forever ago
and the bed got super rusted, well maybe not super rusted but it was def rusting
anyway, the owner at the time had it sprayed, rhino lined, and time goes on and eventually I own it
I hated that truck
it was so mismanaged and pretty much a polished turd
could’ve been great

anyway I digress
what I am saying is, I love this ranger
im putting in a lot of time and a pinch of money into it and I just wanna do it right unlike he who shan’t be named for rhino lining the rusted bed,

so in my head I’m thinking yeah I could break this bitch off and replace it with new sheet metal

Also I want to rhino line this bed lmao
forgot to mention that
so choices are replace that panel and touch up the rest

or

(what I think I’ll do) is grind off all those rusted points, there’s a **** load of surface rust,
then cap em with that rust protector bs
and then get it rhino lined
both would take some time but I guess the latter would be more efficient in terms of money and time
