Question

i dont understand anything about rims. What is the offset and how does that affect whether or not the rims with fit?

I think I might have a similiar question so rather than start a new thread I'll just post in here (sorry if I'm hijacking)

I like the look of a little wider stance with the tires extending slightly beyond the wheel wells. Is this effect achieved through a negative offset with the rims? And also, when you get different rims can you get them with a different offset then the rims you had before?

Excuse my ignorance on the subject lol.
