So I came from afar, a town called Jacksonville and had to travel into Rome through Atlanta... and it was hell! not bashing the A T L but the drive was not that fun too much traffic haha. But in the back roads I saw many a trail that if my truck had those extra two wheels a spinnin I would have been big time wheelin.

Anyone from Rome area/Atlanta know an easier... less congested way to get around atlanta??

Just drive through it. It's not that bad. Rush hour isn't much fun, but you have to be real patient.

 

They are doing MAJOR construction in the Downtown Atlanta area on the weekends. DO NOT go through Downtown area on the weekends (Friday 9pm - Monday 5am) They have several lanes shut down on 75/85 north and south bound. Use 285 if you can to get around Atlanta.

 

the best way around atlanta is , at 2-3 am
