04 reverse glow guages, anyone have them???

I have been looking for the reverse glow gauges for my 04. I cant find any overlays for anything over 03. Whats the deal? Is there a reason for this, or am I not looking in the right place.

The reason for 04+ being so difficult to find overlays for....is that ford completely changed the design of the gage cluster in 04. You can't just take them apart like you could on 03 and older clusters.

What they are suggesting, is upgrading to a factory upgrade cluster(aka....higher model than yours currently.

Well I have the white gauges in my truck already(factory). I want to get blue reverse glow ones to get a brighter dash. Just checking to see if there were any. I will have to go with the blue led upgrade I guess. I am getting sick of looking at the green dull ones.

those I posted from ebay are overlays. They are not a complete gauge cluster just the overlay

I would actually be curious how you get those on. Since the needle heads on the 04 cluster do NOT come off. I worked on my spare cluster for a couple of hours trying to get the needle heads off, and they would NOT come off. So, I am curious how this would work.

Also, the bulbs that are used in the cluster are white. The overlay gives you the green color.

I'm actually thinking about pickin up a 04+ cluster and doing the LED mod to it but figure out how to make it work... Once I do it i'll be posting it up... But as for now, those overlays are as good as it gets unfortunately.
