RUST 95' extended cab 2.3L 5spd. !!!!!!!!!!

Anyone have a severe rust problem with a 95' or is it just me? The body has a few normal crusty spots but underneath everything has rot! I've replaced almost all of the brake lines, fuel lines, 3 of 4 rear spring hangers and both H links, & power steering lines. Spare mount, frame, all 5 wheels are rust covered. Recently had a rear drum blow apart, completely rusted center section. It's not winter road salt. I've got an 85', 87' & an 88' ranger and all 3 of them together haven't got the Rust the 95' has. I've heard there were a few years back there that had a real problem with rust . Bad metal or something. But this seems like really weird. Any ideas appreciated.

The truck is 18 years old and who knows how it was maintained through those years. If it sat outside in the grass its whole life the underside will rust. The 3rd gen and up Rangers are actually better with rust than the 1st and 2nd gen's were, especially with body rust. I sold a 93 a couple years back that spent 250K miles on the roads, endured many Michigan winters and the frame was still very solid and the body only had minimal rust but the truck was washed regularly and parked indoors most of its life.

Rangers never had a severe rust issue...it all boils down to how it was taken care of
