A sad day....but good for my wallet
The Ranger is gone...............
I was at the in laws, hangin out fishin, had to go get some bait. I pulled up at the gas station and some older guy was there starting gawking at my truck. He approched me asking everything I had done to it, how many miles it had on it (62XXX) he said he had wrecked an 02 just like mine about a year ago and it was lifted, 35's, magnaflow, it was a supercab like mine. he had headers, was working on supercharged and stuff, I was like cool man, sorry to hear about your truck....
He asked if I ever thought of selling mine, i said I had but wouldnt get what i wanted...He asked how much i would ask, I threw out 15K so he would be like psssssssssssst and go on with his day. He said I can swing that....I said I already sold these 22's the guy put the deposit down, he said....ok....14000 cash, you buy me stock size tires with some cragers 15x8.....I was like BS.....youll pay me cash? he said US bank up the road lets go.....
Its Sunday man, banks closed...he was branch manager for US bank for Duluth region....we go he unlocks, comes back out 14,000 cash money!!!!!!
I followed him back to his house in Chisholm and he wrote up a bill of sale/contract..He said I could keep the 10's and amp he wanted the H/U and 6x8's.......I will order his tires/wheels and he will come get the truck from my in laws next weekend......
Sorry fellas, but it was a no brainer for me the truck KBB for 11...I spend what 500 on tires/rims....
I still have the Magnum and Tahoe...The Tahoe has 20's with big ol meatys and dual exhaust/leather/power everything/with a tow package and 5.4 V8....I know I never say anything about it but its still here.....I might even sell it too.....I have some things from the ranger that i will sell.
Ill still be around this forum cause I love it and who knows......maybe something else will be in the driveway real soon
