SAS Conversions..Who does them?
SAS Conversions..Who does them?
I really would love to have an SAS conversion done on my truck, but in reality, I think the process is a little over my head. Does anyone know of someone in my area (PA) that does them for customers? What front axle is used for them in the Rangers? What would be a fair price for this kind of conversion?

Its all custom work. Any custom-type shop would do it for you so long as your willing to pay for it.
Fair price.. Couldn't answer such as I'm not experienced with such. I would assume with someone else doing the work.. a FAIR price with new parts.. about 5 grand.

D44 from a jeep wagoneer is the ideal front..but you can go all out run D60s from a superduty you can run D30 from jeeps..
but the ideal one that people shoot for is the D44 from an 80s model Jeep waggy

Tires can not stick past the fenders at all. Max fender flare width is 2".
Bottom of the bumper must be within 20" of the ground, from what I understand.

thought it was 3" flare.. damn that sucks haha so much for hellacios flares..
you MIGHT be able to squeeze some tires under it if you get a jeep D30, or a D44 narrowed, but who knows im not the expert

You can look for Jeep Cherokee's from early 90's to 99. Make sure they have the 4 cyl in them. That basically ensures that they have 4.10 gears in the housing. Oh, and they have a High Pinion Dana 30 up front..... WOO HOO
