If I do ill contact you but I doubt I will any time soon haha. So I picked it up today and theres a little bit of rust but not bad at all so im gonna wire wheel the rough spots and paint the whole thing with some duplicolor bed liner. Only problem is I have to build some brackets because they wont work from a exploder

yeah. those bedlined parts look awesome. i always recommend doing that to grille guards, bull bars, light bars. all that stuff.

you could get it powercoated for cheap also.

some places charge outlandish amounts. other places it's reasonable.

it really boils down to how much you care about the longevity of refinishing it now. if you get it down to bare metal at home and put a few coats of bed liner on it I'm sure it will be rust free for a few years, then you will have to touch up. you get it power-coated and you will never had to worry about it again.

I used that to get a relative height so I could measure for the brackets,

Bracket on. We melted my valence accidentally because the steel was still hot.

And after 3 hours finally on!
