Selling the Ranger?

Hey guys I need some advice here. I need a new car. I wanted to keep my truck and have a car for daily driving but i cant afford to keep both. I'm looking at a 2005 Acura TSX. right in my price range. very clean. But I'mhaving trouble deciding if i want to get rid of the truck. That will mean no more wheeling, no more 4x4. I'm pretty attached to it but were looking at 220k miles now and the tranny is starting to slip pretty bad. i spend about 60 bucks every two days and about 600 a month on just gas. I feel like the responsible thing to do is to sell it and get the car. What do you guys think? Maybe you guys have a better understanding of being attached to your trucks like i am.

Meh, I would keep looking. More miles then I would buy a used car with for a daily driver. Don't jump the gun, keep looking and you will find something. There are a lot of cars that get good mileage and would be a good DD. If I was going to buy high mileage it would be a little older so repairs would be cheap and the cost of the vehicle would be low. Just my two cents.

i bought the acura so far im in love with it!!!
good timing too because i talked to guy upstairs about my tranny in the ranger and he said not to drive it anymore that there is a TSB out for it and its a valve body separator plate so until i get those parts, the ranger sits.
