Setting up off road lights

I wanted to see how some of you setup your off road lights, i wanted to see how you ran the switches and everything. IM very interested in this for a few reasons. I want them to be as easy to get on as i can get for them. Just need some ideas.

Thanks for the help

I hate seperate switches for off-road & driving lights. I have them all automatic whenever I set them up. The big bright stuff relay is on the high beam circuit. Other stuff are on the low beam or fog light circuit.

Ok, so the only way to get the bar on top is to screw into my truck?!?! I kinda dont like that. Wouldnt that stick out real bad.

I want seperate switches because the two in the back will be for backing the boat down in the water. The ones on the front for the back roads at night. dont want them both on all the time.

Also how do you get the wiring down without it being an eye sore. Reading still aint seeing it.

hellas will save you about $60, they are about $70 a pair from wally world and Advanced, just dont get em at Pepboys

but becareful at walmart, there were 3 boxes when i went... 2 looked like they had been opened, the 3rd one didnt, i got that one and it was missing quite a few pieces

BUT Hellas are really narrow, like less than half a day lighter, so it may or may not look funny

i was really looking at around 200........... hundred for a mount and maybe 100 in lights, i might look into getting some from harbor freight or something like that if that got a deal, i dont need the best. Im also not sure that i want to drill into my car with those brackets yet.

Dont know just going to think about it now. My birthday is coming up soon, sounds like a good present to me. LOL

55 watters should put out a good little beam right? Shouldnt be bad. I might go with 100s on the outside and 55 on the inside for backing the boat up.

How do these lights affect battery life and such
