Hey I'd sport a moped, save like $100 a week on gas as much driving as I do! That sounds like the way to go though until you can get your new truck or whatever you are looking for. Saving money is sweet!

Ya know, some insurance companies will give a DISCOUNT for carrying a fire extinguisher in your vehicle..

That sucks bro. Sorry to see your truck go.

My question is, your insurance company will not cover it because you put a aftermarket headunit and new tires on the truck. That sounds kinda perposterous.

i think he meant his insurance would not cover the head unit and tires themselves. but you may be suprised, they may cover it if you can prove they were in there

Grass fires can start so easily from a catalytic converter that in the west, where its often extremely dry, driving off-road is often prohibited by law during certain dry spells. Bans are constantly being put in place and lifted as the weather changes. I don't drive in high grass ever, unless the grass is wet or unless I've just started the truck and am only driving a distance that's short enough that the catalytic converter doesn't have time to heat up. If you stop the truck in high grass, even for just a few seconds, there's an especially good chance of starting a fire.

Holy crap, wheres that at, Viera?

Pickupman92 from Deland is selling a yellow 01 Edge 4.0SOHC flareside at quite a bargain. Its a good truck in excellent condition, I've done some work on it myself. When tragedy strikes, upgrade! (or if you're me, you buy a truck 1 year newer with the exact same options, and let your friends think you have the same truck but they fixed it.)

Your insurance company should cover the non-stock items. State Farm did it for me when I was in an accident back in Feb. Granted I wasn't at fault in my case, and your case is just single vehicle so I'm not sure how it quite works out. FWIW, I'm a receipt *****, so when I had my accident I had ALL my receipts from mods and/or repairs, showing mileage of when mods or repairs were done. The only mod I had was I went from a 14 in rim up to a 15x7 and my tires went from 27x9.50 to 29 BFG All-Terrains. I'd stick it to em on the non-stock stuff. They insure your vehicle and IMO as long as you're not modding it beyond what their company outlines as insurable they should/need to cover it.
