My dads friends son was coming home from his homecoming game last night and fell asleep and rolled it 7 times he is ok but the truck is as you see ....hmmm lol anyway i offered him 300 for it its payed off so they arnt claiming it on there insurance i dont know what year or engine yet my dads working on that but should be some good parts .

Yeah unless you're in need of some interior parts I wouldn't bother with it.

 

looks like you can salvage 13 lug nuts and a set of side mirrors :P he must be gratefull to be alive

 

if the engine is the same as yours and it runs... Otherwise seriously it's bashed everywhere to hell. You can get wipers/windshield/prolly a deal of the underneath suspension is f'd up. Honestly you should offer him $100 cause I think that's how much a car scrapper would pay him.

 

how are the doors still semi-straight? ****.

the frame is probably bent to ****, so you cant start a truggy out of it.. i would say don't bother.

 

lol i dont know i just found out abouth this like 30 mins ago my dad went and took the pics. im not sure whats all good im going to look at it ina cpl weeks im sure theres enough on it to sell to yall to make my 300 back im surprised the mirrors survived, the door glass i want the seats so i dont have to cut mine to make the buckets and get em reupholstered.

every body panel has damage, nothing good there,

rear bumper looks like its bent into a v, which tells me frame damage.

with every body panel messed up, the rad. support is probably messed up, and possibly the radiator pushed into the fan.

with the engine, best case is its your same engine and nothing hit it, but it looks like an older truck, so it probably has more miles than yours does.

so with everything said and done the possible salvage is interior parts, the engine, and the tires(3 look good, 4th is flat) unless you need those parts its not worth 300. i say if hes gonna give it to you, than great if not don't go for it.

They're smart for not claiming it on their insurance...

That truck's worth only a couple thousand in good condition. But if they claim it, his insurance (and theirs) will increase for the next couple years. The insurance company will get their payout back real quick.

yeah they were paying 800 a month for the ranger and 07 colorado and a 05 suburban because their kids like speeding and wrecking and the dad has 2 duis so thats why they didnt claim it

 

i called my dad and hes going to call him and ask either sell it to me cheap or just come let me rape whats good ie the mirrors for brewcrew48 and my fullsize spare

Assuming it's a 10 month payment plan like I have, that's $8000 a year for only THREE vehicles!!!! HOLY **** ****!!!

I pay $1500 here in MA for my truck (fully insured) and my motorcycle (everything but collision).

 

Duder its easy to do bucket mod with an explorer center console. Then you just tuck the fabric down and the center console hides the damage on one side, it's awesome

 

yeha i know they havent had the best of luck out of there three oldest enough to drive only one still has his lisence and hes the one that demolished the ranger

 

If you don't wanna deal with cutting your trucks seats up, you're in for a long curse word filled session of seat track swapping because xcab seats will not bolt into a regular cab.


The truck isn't worth it to you. The truck is a 98-00 and has either a 3.0 or 4.0, you can't use any part of the drivetrain other than the rear axle. You MIGHT get $300 in scrap for it MAYBE after you pull any good parts out of it. If your interior is grey and it's interior is grey, they are both different shades of grey. I can probably go on.

But...does the truck have power options? doors, mirrors windows?
