There are alinement holes behind the badges.. so unless you have the $$$ to shave & paint id either get some 06+ badges or leave em alone..
ditto on the mud flaps.. though id leave the bed caps as by now they have worn the paint underneath.. you could lose the step bars, sell em $$$, unless you need them.. bumper mod to close that gap a tad.. headlight mod.. blinker mod.. detail the interior? |
i say you only need to de badge it if you are going to get black rims
|
fog light mod it takes 2 seconds to do, paint the interior panels might cost you 20-30 bucks, air intake mod is useless unless at high rpm but cool none the less and free,
|
Fog lite mod and my favorite-bungee cord across the bed to keep the 12 packs from moving around. :alcoholic

get some better looking tow hooks

i just blew a fuse doing the blinker mod, the instructions for it are WRONG, the black wire on the marker light is NOT the one to connect to, lol so im off to get fuses, i tried it the other way and my blinker light just stayed on.WTF
|
They are too correct, they are the same ones I used. You must have messed up somewhere.
|
nope tried it about 4 different ways and it never did work right, when i turn my lights on my blinkers quit working all togather, but when there off the mod works fine. plus you have a 04, i have a 02. is there a difference i wonder?
|
Nope no difference in this mod
|
its up to u
somtimes i get bored and just wanna F**k around with my truck.
i think you have to take off the fender to do that. I think.:nervous: all i know that they are bolted on and if off it will leave 3 holes.:nervous: |
You don't have to take the fender off and they aren't bolted on. Just use a hairdryer to heat the adhesive up.

Fishing line is awesome for this kind of job after you heat the emblem tape. ROFL@taking fender off FWIW the only emblem 'bolted' on is the ford badge on the grille and it's just a nut with sharp edges cutting into the plastic alignment 'bolt' haha |
My 04 isnt even that much! It just snaps in with 2 clips

take some Hvac tape and chromatize your 'Ranger' foot plate doohickeys on the bottom of your door sills. Cheap, easy, takes about an hour to do a nice job....
