Any opinions on whether to get a alarm or a alarm with remote start
. Does anyone even use the remote start? What do uall think.

 

I have remote start on my truck, however it doesn't work. I think it's useful in the winter so that the truck can warm up to operating temperature, and you don't have to wait for it. And FL winters are cold, so that's useful

 

I just had a Python 533 alarm/remote start installed yesterday. With as cold any snowy as it gets around here, the remote start will be a nice addition.

 

I use mine, Viper 5901.

Useful for warming it up or just making things a little quicker if you are in a hurry. A lot of the time I time mine to start as I'm stepping in the truck.

 

With the remote start, how did you guys get around the PATS? I have thought about a remote start for years but do not want to disable the PATS or leave a key in my truck all the time.
