IDK? I have just been thinking lately. The front off my truck jusst looks too busy with all the lights and brush guards. Shoul I keep it on or off?

 

no but you should take off all the lights but the KC lights and the factory fogs..........

Yeah, you should. Maybe it will help you paint your front bumper quicker if it is off.

 

have you ever though about doing what i did? i used Pro Comp 5" driving lights and made custom "L" brackets that mounted in the factory location on the bumper and then held the 5" light in the proper location.......the lights fit in the hole great! they fill the hole completely.......they have both clear lenses (what i have) and they also have fluted lenses like the factory fogs......

all you have to do is cut the plug off the factory lights and attach it to the Pro Comps and then plug it into the stock spot...

i will shoot some pictures of my bracket whenever i get home......

Have you tried buying some 3M stone gurad to put over your foglight lens to prevent breakage? I have read that you put the stone guard on a headlight and shoot it with a pellet gun and the lens won't break. If you try it let me know if it works.... :-))

it isn't really that they break.....they just fall off.....the glue that holds the lenses on is really not that great...

 

i looked on ebay and found non what so ever!? well the pro-comp lights that is.

 

i got mine from 4 Wheel Parts for $20 a piece.....

ummmmm YES!!!! mine took a deer hit 2 winters ago and all that was wrong with them was it blew the bulb......i replaced it cause insurance paid for it, but i still have the old housing incase something happens to one.....i like the spot style....they are more like an offroad light.....they penetrate fog REAL good......and since i have the clear lense on my headlights they match with the clear lense on the spot light......they are really bright also...

you will pay $50+ for 1 factory fog light.....

 

well get me that bracket pic when you get off..........i can fab one up at work.

 

i thing i'll have to get the spot lenses then.

 

it is SUPER easy......all it is, is a piece of steel bent to an "L" shape and made the correct length to fit the lights in the hole.....i had to do so elongated holes so i could allign my lights to shine were i wanted them to shine......it bolts to 1 of the factory fog light bolts

now the light housing will not fit in the hole, just the light lense correct?

i say leave the brush guard but im biased and leave the visor on too they both look good just flip the bar with the lights on it around so they dont hang way out there
