Sick ranger at USF

I see this truck around campus all the time. They have coilover suspension in the front, lots of lift, but the 4wd isn't hooked up (no front drive shaft). Just thought I'd share.

For reference I'm 5'7'' (short, I know) and my truck roof (red mazda) is a couple inches above my head. Roof clearance is like 9' there.

It isn't SAS. It is IFS coilovers with two big sway bar looking things attached to the front.

I dont think they have any lift besides that kit, though (doesn't look body lifted, didnt see any bumper brackets or gap guards). It's FX4.

I never said SAS re-read i said RCD as in RCD COIL OVER lift kit...

also said it looks LOW to be an RCD but maybe his coils are sagged out..

so it has to support rods for the diff drop going back towards the cab? sounds like RCD

I wasn't saying you said SAS. I was just saying that it doesn't have stock suspension in the front, it's all suspension lift, and it isn't SAS.

I dont know what RCD is.

RCD is an IFS suspension lift kit made for Rangers. It replaces the torsion bars with coilover shocks from Bilstein, and it adds about 5.5" of lift. It's pretty pricey and I think they are stopping production soon if they haven't already.

You have 700 posts and don't know what RCD is? Wow thats suprising. Only two companies make lift kits for the newer 4wds, RCD & Superlift.

Good idea!

I keep hoping I can catch whoever drives it while they're by the truck just so I can give them props. It's a clean truck Black stealies with like 35's, nice suspension kit. Not too high for a ranger and the gray looks fantastic. They just need to get a front drive shaft. I think it's a 4.0 too and I think they have pods and a thing that looks like a tuner so it could be modified. I saw it driving and didn't hear the exhaust from like 100' away but it was going slow.

There's a Ranger that looks a bit like that in my neighborhood although the one here is a bit higher.
