I really don't have any complains with the stock bulbs, but this seems like a cheap mod/upgrade... Are you worried about any possible melting from the extra head/amp load on the wires?

Yes, they use a thinner, high temperature filament that burns hotter and whiter at the same current. They are somewhat more "fragile" than standard bulbs, but they put out whiter light at the same electrical power as stock lamps.

Silverstars are a must. I had them on my old 2002 Ranger EDGE in headlight and fogs. I plan to get them and Silverstar signals for my 'Rus after I get the LX crystal headlights.
