Zach, Andy has 35s and 15x10s. I really liked them, and his fit fine. He had 3 inch tbar crank too. If you do it, do it. But 35s fit very comfortably on Andy. It didnt feel like he was tuckin 35s at all, and we hita curb at 15 and no rubbing(he drove over it)

but that is just a BL, its kinda a toss up on whether it will rub or not. body lift does clearance in some places a suspension lift doesnt.

ill see what my plan is this weekend and maybe ill try it

That will look really good. I'd like to see a superlift and some 35's.

Trevelyn1015 07-26-2006 09:48 AM

Ok so the whole purpose of removing the body lift was to go with smaller tires and less stress right, so what are you going to accomplish by removing the BL and leaving the 35s? That confused me about the whole deal lol.

RangerBoy03FX4 07-26-2006 10:33 AM

id take off the bl and run 33s.

it would lower the hitch 3" and give me more of a feel if i would like the truck that low agian

DKM 07-26-2006 11:08 AM

lol right, wrong type of truck. if i was gonna do that i would have got a 2wd xlt.

optikal illushun 07-26-2006 11:11 AM

Take the body lift off, keep the 35s for a lower center of gravity. i think the only place u'll rub is on the sway bar and possibly on the inner most part of the splash shield/inner fender at full lock. and of course maybe when u flex it out to max on the rear of the wheel well in the back...

This is ultimatly what id like to have on Sarahs ranger...4" lift and 35s...

you modified your hitch for the body lift? if you did why not just get another that isn't modified? it would be 3" lower

it looks retarted down that low. that is the problem.

the hitch is suppose to stay up at the bottom of the bumper.

ive got problems with perfection/looks and performance i like ot have them all.

well you know you have to choose one or the other....you can't have both!

Shalafi49 07-26-2006 11:36 AM

Love your truck man but the height would be limiting when used as a truck. Take off the BL and run 33s. It'll still look great.

Alon 07-26-2006 11:59 AM

ive got 33's and 4.56 and yes it hauls butt, especially with the intake/exhaust and tuner.

i can get 18mpg driving nicely but its been as bad as 14-15 when i first got the tuner.

HighRollerII 07-26-2006 04:47 PM

i got it zach..keep the bl take off the superlift..sell me the superlift..get the 33s back on..sell me the 4.56s and be good to go..

haha

zach id say keep it the way it is..youve done to much to it do turn back now..last week on AIM you said you would never go lower you love it at the height so keep it brah

rangererv 07-26-2006 10:16 PM

i love ur truck the way it is. its one of my favorite on the site.
for the towing part...ya u do haul a lot of things. I'd say drop you hitch a little and make it more like bills, or mine. a little space isnt going to look that bad and it will perform better. It is you call tho. Im sure u will choose whats best.

I love your truck Zach, it looks so kick-ass.

But I wonder what it would look like w. some 33's w. the Superlift.

jtslmn720 07-26-2006 10:26 PM

honestly i dont think it will really look that diffrent, maybe in person it will, but online your not gunna notice 3"s that much...

Roach2004 07-26-2006 10:33 PM

I dont know I think you are crazy!

jrpro130 07-27-2006 09:57 AM

I say keep the superlift and get 33's...stick w/ your 4.56's.

You should have a ton of power with those 33's and 4.56's.

Scrap the b/l...IMO, I just like suspension better.

I think properly done (no b/l) and a little smaller is better than b/l and bigger...just my opinion.

I'm with hazzardjohn...I just don't care much for b/l unless your really wanting to stuff more of a tire, but I dunno...

At the same time, i say keep it like it is, you can't even tell you have a b/l.

fletch12518 07-27-2006 10:00 AM

I think of it this way, do you wheel and flex it that much to wrorry about a body lift . Your truck is nice and you should keep it! dont be stupid! please!

zabeard 07-27-2006 10:03 AM

lol idk

im still confused. right now im just thinking of a different design on my hitch. but we will see

school is killing my funds at the moment, along iwth another project, more then likly ill wait and get that taken care of before messing with my truck again.
