wtf man, i feel cheated, yall are getting like 30+ inches and they said 8-12 inches for us, and were right next to a lake. this sucks! i hate ALWAYS getting the short end of the snowy stick! seems like we always got a ton of snow in the winter when i was younger, now that i got 4wd, we dont get crap for snow, an inch here, 6inches there.... i want the 5 ft dammit!

really windy and snow drifts the size of small children around here. I wish it would stop though so I can plow. It looks like it's gonna be an early morning.

hahaha, that's awesome...I also had a night commute home, all by myself, and I'll tell you: coming into a 3-laned (width road) sideways (w' enough space to stop, and no other cars around) is a new kind of thrill versus the empty parking lot.

I'm in central MA, and we're also only looking at 4-8".

anyone got any pics?

I'm disappointed for 2 reasons:

-we only got 3-6" here in central MA
-this morning the truck turned over a lot without starting
-the transmission wouldn't go into gear

and now, even when it's WARM, the transmission won't hold in a gear unless I'm heavy on the throttle! so every time I stop, the gear change selector will still be in "D", but I'll have tap the gas until it "drops" back into gear...

stupid snow...stupid ranger...

Really? I've driven to Syracuse and Jamestown a few times and the snow has been out of control!

ehh...the ranger needed some tranny fluid, belts tightened, engine oil, and aimed off-road lights...she's running better now, but I'm still going to pamper her during snowstorms to prevent her from getting hurt...

As for the XR80R dirtbike, she got a work out!

Yep, you north eastern yanks got nailed hard in places. I was watching a clip about a place in upstate NY that has 2-3 meter high snow banks and the snow is still coming. Serious snowfall there.

Ottawa got 4 inches......weeeeeeeeeeeee. Guess we missed the fun of this storm.

Montreal and Southern Ontario got 11"-15"........but talk about some crazy road conditions. The 401 is a nightmare down in Southern Ontario.

We got about 14" and a heavy coat of freezing rain! I'm about 220lbs and had no problem walking on top of all the snow. Then I'd hit a spot were the ice coat wasn't very thick and fall through...lol

Sucks I didn't have my truck! It took me three hours to shovel out the stupid uhaul I rented to bring my truck home. I didn't even end up taking it back b/c the roads were so crappy.
