Icon9 so sad....

Had to run down to the dealer to pick up some paperwork they forgot when I bought my new F150 early last week and saw my Ranger sitting on the lot...such a sad sight to see it on a dealer lot in the sea of used cars. They are asking $13,500 for it....I guess thats about fair since it only had 35K on it. I miss it, but it was nice to climb back into my brand new smelling truck, fire up the V8, and head home.

I remember feeling that way when I traded in my Blazer for the ranger. I was happy to get rid of it, but after so many years of having it, seeing it just reminded me of all the good times.

I have seen my old ranger twice since selling it. I miss it and it brings back good memories since it was my first truck even though I have a way better ranger now, but that damn white paint still looks good on my old one.

I used to try to trade my truck in or figure out what else I wanted, I came really close to trading it in a few times. Now I couldn't do it and if that day were to come or it were to get totaled I would probably have tears rolling down my face...

I sold my first truck to a guy about 4 hours away. Was a 1965 International 3/4 ton 4x4. In it's glory of my ownership, she had a 400hp 400ci sbchevy, th400, np205, f d44/r d60, 4.88s, 38" TSL. That sucker went everywhere. Now, the truck is on 2.5ton rockwells, and like 54" Michelins. I'm still in love with those trucks. Gosh I miss it.

I know the feeling....espicially when I see pics of the truck now.
