there's one close to my work that's all black and identical to Swoop's. Its teh only Raptor Ive seen in person and it looks killer

 

I hope the OP pays the truck off in no time and enjoys the hell out of the truck. I think the problem lies in that a large amount of people don't think this is a great idea financially. Now you might say well its not their problem they don't have to pay back the money. Well if you look at the current recession we're in and that its caused by people making terrible financial decisions (AKA not being able to pay the home loan they agree'd to) and now the masses are paying for it. Its just a touchy subject at this time. JMHO

 

oh i agree completely...its just you get the people that can afford to get something like that and the people that cant afford it start bashing them just because they dont have that kind of money... they just need to keep their useless mouths shut

Love those trucks but not for me for i live in the south with the mud.....lol!! and dont see why you had to explain anything to these people questioning you finacial ability to buy a vehicle..its non of there DAMN business!! That's true. I think there is a HUGE difference in buying a cuople Cadillac's, having 5 kids, a $750,000 home, a boat and a dog with a single income and having a $50,000 truck when I'm saving tons of money. I agree, people are making bad decisions, but as I explained kindly, I waited and waited and waited until I found the right deal and I was in the right spot to get one and I was there, it was there and it happened.

AHMEN Brother! I explained because many people on this site know me, I've met many of them. As I said in my other post, a lot of the new people and even "now-old-school" members are still newbie's compared to some of us old-timers...you know, the Gen-EDGE/Jason peeps .

The truck is yours and I'm glad you're happy. I'm just stating why I thought some people might be sensitive to the subject. I personally could care less as long as we don't end up with a car loan bailout program headed by the Feds.

 

If the govt ever did that, I'd toss my badge on the ground, walk out of my federal compound, buy a ticket to Japan and live my dream owning a pizza shop on the beach that specialized in pizza and beer. Free beer when it rained.

your right my uneducatded-ness must have made me miss where the bed cage is that those legit shocks bolt too, with those gigantic totally longer then stock shackles for supreme downtravel, with limiting straps because it travels so long, not to mention those sicky gnargnar longtravel lift blocks, also didnt see the f150 upper arms and ball joint holding the truely overbuilt spindles inplace with the "coilover" connected to the cast aluminum lca's. maybe i should go reread how to build a desert truck because i thought beds are for banging not prerunning

I have a Corsa cat-back exhaust, AIRAID cold air intake and a tune by Livernois Motorsports. Oh, I also bought a house. The house has a pool, tile floors and is 1 mile from the beach in sunny Florida.

Anyone can do what I do. Just make smart decisions.

Here is my new one from a magazine photo-shoot for Truckin' Magazine. Yeah, that's right. This truck is in a magazine as well. BOTH Raptors are article trucks. Beat that ****.

Yeah! This one isn't getting off-roaded the the point that even my old one did, which wasn't a tenth as hard as what those guys were pressing.

Looks like your living the life, I've driven one of these for a day before, they're sweet trucks. I'd rather have the Orange tho.

 

Nice and congrats. I'm not a fan of screws, to me it's too long of a truck and it takes away from the desert racer and makes it more of a soccer dad vehicle.

This wasn't a hate on you post or jealousy (if I could buy on I would). More of a wish you kept the old one over this one.
