Sold the ranger sad day...

well i know its been awhile since i have been on the site but it was a sad day i finally broke down and sold the ranger.....

and picked up a 2010 mazdaspeed 3 with only 4000 miles on her

i love the new mazda is exactly what i was looking for something small good on gas and is fun to drive.. its going to be a lot easier to find parking in this car then the truck would be in san fran since i am being stationed there at the end of the month.. so that was a big factor in finally selling the truck

just wanted to say thanks for all the advice i got on here and thanks for all the people that helped me out with whatever questions i came up with...

Congrats on the new car. I must ask....is it fast?

Ive had a couple of folks trying to push me into getting a mazda speed3.

Hopefully the new owners will appreciate the ranger very much.

Speed3's are pretty quick from what I've read. I'd say good buy as it'll save you money and it'll handle the twisties much better!

Quick google search says 5.7 seconds for a 0-60 mph and a 14.3 second Quarter Mile. Definitely pretty quick (Reference Site).

Coming from an RX8 owner, it's not always about straight line performance.

Rx8 is a nightmare. Seen plenty with the starter issue to the seals. Then having the hot start and idles problems. I'd never own a rx8

O damn dude better turn in your man card!!!! haha jk.
Before I got my ranger, I was going to get a mazda 3 or a subaru impreza. I just cant stand those high reving jap engines, makes me feel like I 'm driving a weed-whacker powered go-cart or something. In my honda I gotta bring it up to like 4grand before it actually starts to move. Thats why I picked the ranger. Amazing color though, I love the electric blue, and i bet its such a nice ride compared to the bouncy-*** torsion bars!

You're going to love the 3! Mine's a GT-E, not a Speed but no complaints here!
