stacks w/ snorkel

stacks w/ snorkel

ive been debateing this for awhile. could you run stacks with a snorkel?? would the exhaust interfere in any way??

I don't think so. I guess you're refering to the intake being too close to the exhaust and sucking it back in the motor. Moving there shouldn't be a problem but if you run stacks with a turn towards the back you most likely will be good all the time.

LOL yeah pretty much,

If the snorkle is in the front while you are moving I would think all the exhaust would just blow back and not enter the intake.

im thinking goin 2 1/4 for the pipes i believe stock was 2"

I thought stock was 2-1/4. I may be wrong.

If you're gonna do stacks, do at MINIMUM a 3" OD tube....I'd say more like 4" if you want it to look decent.

Also be sure to allow proper clearance around them, and put perforated shields around them to allow cooling air flow.
