Stepside or Styleside?

Vote your choice in the poll on your ranger. If you have more than one ranger, vote on your primary preference.

I'm curious to see the ratio!

not that it really matters, but of coruse I am new to the ranger sceen, and I found myself parked next to a Mazda truck and I happened to notice that the beds, other than the tailgait where the badges are at, are IDENTICAL. Imagine that! :{D

we coulda told you that, lol. that's fords idea of providing a specially extreme bed for the STX. you should pick yourself up a styleside Ranger bed.

My four wheeler won't fit in a flareside, so styleside for me.

But now I have nothing *kicks rocks*

I have the style side and there is more room in it. Room in the bed is important to me because I haul stuufall the time and I use it for work.

I don't think the stepside looks very good, nor is it practical. So I see no point for it.

Stepside, its great for offroading when you get stuck in the mud... if you have step rails anyhow.

i wanted a styleside, but ended up with a stepside.. while stepsides aren't as usefull (hauling drywall blows).. they look better. there's nothing more boring than the same old straight side bed, which every truck in the world has.

I think the stepside looks better. My first truck had a styleside bed. I made sure my next truck was a stepside.

Well, there are more votes for styleside but there are no votes of stepside owners wanting a styleside. Where as there are a couple styleside owners wishing for a stepside.

Me personally, I like the stepside on 4 door trucks. the joint between the bed and the cab looks alot cleaner than it does on 2 door cabs. Dad talked me into a styleside, and while I am glad he did, I do like the curves on stepsides, and they do have more of "their own market" so to speak since no other small pick up has that style of bed.

Ii'd rather have a styleside than my stepside. I can fit my quad in the bed (Suzuki Quadmater 500 4x4 Utility) but i liked having the bigger bed on my red ranger. (Yes i miss that truck too much)

I hate the stepside, hauling sheets or plywood/drywall sucks my ***. I'm willing to trade anyone that wants a stepside,
Bed Tailgate, bumper etc...

i love the styleside jsut because to me it looks 100x cleaner, because theres no giant buldge to distort lines and you get much more room to put stuff in it...

Stepside for me. It has enough room for my band equipment and I think it looks better.
