Still truckless

Well my truck has been in the shop for a couple weeks. Getting the body work fixed from the incident. If you didnt read in another thread, a guy i work with parked my truck because i was busy. He left it in reverse and i did my remote start during lunch break and off goes my truck 50 feet into a tree. Damage has just about reached $3,000. I checked up on it today and they were starting to weld the new bedside on. I was up there droppin off my grill for them to put on, and just wanted to see my truck. After all the work is done, its gonna get some fresh wax and quite a few pimpin mods that i need to do.

While thats been gone, ive been drivin the expedition which is nice but gets boring after a while, except for the fact i can fit more than 2 comfortably. Also replaced the carburetor on the CJ yesterday and now its runnin perfect. I really wanna go wheel it somewhere next weekend. Just an update on whats goin on cause it kinda sucks but its not too bad.

nope. i really cant blame him for it. it is a stickshift with remote start and he knew i had it, but people have their own habits of how they park manuals. ive always parked in neutral so having remote start was no sweat to me. oh and im also gettin the plastic bedliner takin out and some real bedliner sprayed in there, i think they are gonna do Line-X

yeah but it turned out to be more damage once they took it apart, the whole bed tweaked a little so they had to do some more work and stuff. honestly i want it back, but its not horrible cause im rollin in an 03 eddie bauer. its like a giant boat. im goin to work tomorrow and puttin some michelin cross terrains on it then get it aligned. im gonna enjoy the smooth ride while i can. i like it cause it doesnt have all the gold eddie bauer trimming. its basically all black like my edge.

i miss my truck so much tho. everyones wonderin where the hell that thing is cause i havent driven it to school one day yet this year.

i always thought in order to start a ranger with manual transmission, you had to push the clutch in. at least, with the older ones you did. so, how did they by-pass that feature to install the auto start?

Eh yeah i need to find my camera, they were welding on the new bedside. Theyre also puttin the billet grill on and replacing my whole foglight assemblies. Im leaving town thursday and heading up to PA because my grandfather died morning. They live 3 houses down from us but have a little cottage up there too. I wish he could have seen my jeep run solid because he was always talking to me about it. We were really close so it really sucks.

Im hopin to get my truck back next week. I drove around for an hour and a half today pickin up the tires for the expedition. My senior assistant manager let me take his titan, and man those trucks drive nice. But I finally got all the tires and went back to the shop and threw them on. Got some Michelin Cross-Terrains and they ride real good.
