Stupid clear corner question

I just got my clear corners in the mail today, and before I install them, want to make sure they don't leak. I had read posts from several of you saying to put a bead of silicone around them. Perhaps (probably) I'm stupid, but I can't see how you could do it. The seam between the lens and the base only appears to be accessible from the sides. What do you do about the top and bottom? Also what kind of silicone do I use? I got a tube of Permatex "Clear RTV Silicone" adhesive/sealant. I know I'll be flamed for this, but if anybody has a picture of how to seal these I would be eternally grateful! As always, thanks for the help!

I wouldnt worry about trying to add extra sealant to them, they should be fine. I would just put them on and then if you start to notice moisture build up inside of them you could take them off and add a bead of clear silicone between the housing and the lense.

Wouldn't worry too much about it. My clears are just fine. My driver's side tail on the other hand...dropping it might've had something to do with it.

I installed them today, and went to the DIY car wash. I pounded on them with the pressure washer, and I'm sure they don't leak. They look great.
