Successful Defense
Tooting my own horn here. I successfully defended my class win at the 24th Annual Autumn Leaves Car Show in Granville NY today.
Last years Granville show was the third car show that I ever entered and I ended up winning my class there. Went back today to defend my title. Secretly, this was the one show this year that I wanted to do well in since it was my only shot as reigning class winner-the other show that I won my class at last year--4 Wheel Jamboree in Essex VT--was cancelled this year.
It's been a pretty good year so far--7 shows entered so far, probably 4 more to go--3rd at Carlisle Ford Nats, 1st at R.A.V.E. in Rutland, VT., 2nd at Ticonderoga NY--but this was the one that I wanted.
Great show, 250+ vehicles entered, and absolutely perfect weather.
Maybe a three-peat next year?

You've seen my truck! What do you want pics of--the award I got?
I did take a few pics while I was voting, but I was mostly hanging at the truck. You know--showing mods, answering questions, schmoozing with the people, the endless detailing, soaking up the rays.

Damn Kyle-you're relentless.
I'll see what I can do-I did have 2 shows this weekend, but I didn't get a lot of pics at either one.
I'll see if I can get some up tomorrow-Season Premier of Top Gear is on in 45 minutes, so it won't be tonight.
