I have been looking into all these treads about swapping to a 5.0L V8 and my question really goes out to "rwenzing," "needforspeed3685," and "INT3RC3PTOR." would yall recommend doing the swap? a few things to keep in mind, im limited to the very technical aspects of engines, gear ratios and none-the-less wiring of all the sensors and what have ya.

questions: about how much did it cost to swap everything?

how long did it take?

how dependable is the swap?

will i be under the hood every weekend?

would i be better of keeping the 4.0L and its dependability?

My main concern is to do all this work and not have a dependable truck. i like the fact of knowing if i go on a road trip or a long drive it wont break down on me if i drive it right.
