you could also jus make your own. The steel used for the doors doesn't have to be incredibly thick because you couldn't really expect it to hold up to the weight of lets say, rolling onto a tree stump.
Here's an example. http://www.marlincrawler.com/images/halfdoor_500.jpg |
so lemme get this straight
i take my doors off or make somehting like that i can get a girl to drive my truck in a pink hat? |
The girl isn't that goood lookin. And the hat isn't that pink. And you should be on AIM.

Well, I washed the truck up and took the doors off today, and it only took about an hour. Just make sure you have something that can hold the wieght of the doors when you unbolt them. They weigh about 100lbs each. It's really wierd driving like that, too. It makes the truck look really skinny...lol. Well, heres a pic!

lol you tried to do it yourself?
i always have a buddy with me, and it takes me about 10 minutes to get em off and about 20 to put em back on... |
i'll lhave to have a buddy help me put them back on... I lift alot of really heavy **** at work so I figured I'd be alright... I'm going to need some help putting them back on though...
I just took a ride with the doors off-- wow! Once you get over how scary it is and how cool the engine sounds, you feel like a douche, or at least I did driving my near-stock ranger around without the doors. Then after a couple miles, you get used to it. |
Oh, yeah and when the doors are off, you don't have any dingers, so don't forget to take your keys outta the ignition or you might get locked out :icon16:
|
looks sweet, id be scared of getting T boned...
any pics of your quick disconnects? did you use the quick disconnet butt connectors? |
I'm going to use some of the bullet-type crimp-on connectors. I haven't acutally got to that part yet, cause it's soooo damn hot outside and I'm tired as hell from cleaning it and taking the doors off and carrying them a couple hundred feet to the shop.

pictures please channing :-)

Man, I sooooo don't like the doors off now. It sucks ass. It's good for once in a while for offraoding. Those doors are friggin' heavy, I tried to put them back on, no sir! I will post pictures tomorrow.
