I was at my local ford deler yesterday talking about some level II's and new rangers..he said from what hes been told the 2010 ranger WILL be a mini f150 and will have a 3.5L or a 4.6L V8..this is probably old news but it seemed cool when i hears it again..

He said 04+ Level II dont have manual T-case's?? IS this true, cuz i cant find one, I can't even find any newer Level IIs with a manual trans??

 

2010 ranger wont have a v8. He is talking about the f100 they are working on. Ranger will still be the same as what we have now more then likely with minor updates. We have the global ranger coming out in 2012 if I remember correctly. Yes 04+ lvl II's do not have manual tcases.

 

Yeah he said it was the f100 badging....Oh so they are keeping the range and re-introducing the F100..Sweet..I thought they were one in the same..Well he did say the ranger was due for a bodychange in 2010

I heard that the F-100 has been shelved for now. Ford doesn't have any money.

The current Ranger will be in production at least until 2011 according to Ford. Pretty much anything could happen at this point.

 

they dont even know if the f100 will even go into production. 2010 is too early. maybe 2011.

I believe Ford shelved the F-100 in favor of Ecoboost engines for the F-150.
