the time has come for new shocks
Need to know what length I need for stock suspension. And which ones will improve the ride over stock without breaking the bank. If that's even possible. Lol
Ty.....Bilstein makes 5100's for stock Ranger's. They list them to only fit 2wd Edge, but it might work very well in a 4wd. I suggest trying those out.
If they don't have sufficient clearance of the CV's, tried and true route is the yellow+blue Bilstein HD's that are proven to fit. Roughly $270 shipped off eBay. Price has gone up on the past couple of years.

That's like saying Rancho 9000's are the same as stock shocks. No comparison.
I would bet the Bilstein HDs and the KYB monomax are about the same too, but again the KYBs are half the cost

Don't wheel it much anymore. I want whatever is best for DD
Thats why i've been rocking Monore - Sensatracs for life.
right now i've got worn out Motorcrafts on my truck, I'm putting Sensetracs in this weekend.
If you want a nice ride, stick with Bilstein or Gabriels.
If you use your truck for a truck, Monroes or Ranchos

Damn! Well I'm already at 3 months so I guess we'll see, but so far they are great.
x2 the bilsteins ride so nice in a ranger. Just dont go with the HD shocks they are stiffer then ron jeremy in a gang bang
SUMMIT. I'm not telling you where. Pedro found it, then trolled me about it then I found them...If i can find them you can
I just ordered a set of Monroes for my front. Anything will be better than what I have now, because my shocks have been done for the longest of time, and the front of my truck rides like the rear end of a dually.
