I need to know what these trucks have.

1991 Ford Ranger Custom V6 3.0l / 4 cyl, 2.3 (auto.) extended cab
Not sure which engine he told me.

and
1995 Ford Ranger XLT V6 4.0l (man.) standard cab

Both v6 engine have chains. Not sure about the 4 banger.

 

2.3 has a belt

2.9,3.0,4.0 are chains

i guess i have one of them crazy year models that few others have..
i'm looking for any remarks or info on my 2001 2.3 double overhead cam timing marks..

 

Do you need to remove AC refrigerant to do the Timing chain replacement?
