tire size

Looking for advise, I have a 2010 ranger xlt 4 wd and it came with 255 tires, I am wondering for economical reasons if I could put 245 or even 235 tires on this truck without screwing anything up, the narrower tire is cheaper and may give a little improvement in gas mileage, any thought's out there?

Yes, narrower tires are lighter and have less friction so better MPG

The less friction needs to be a "heads up" when cornering and in slippery conditions, i.e. rain, snow, ice

Go here to find the correct size that will keep your speedometer as close to correct as possible
