Can I put 245/75/16 on a 02 ford ranger xlt 2 wheel drive without causing damage? Thank you

 

I wouldn't expect for you to have a problem. 31 really isn't that big. When you get to 32 and so on you begin to have possible rubbing, as well as wider tires, the tires that you had aren't that wide. Further info here Chart of maximum tire size - Ford Ranger Forum

 

Everyone told me 32x11.5x15 would never work on my stock 04 4x4...

They fit fine. tho theres rubbing on the bolts I added to hold on the front mud flaps
