tire size? my first truck!

so this is the first truck i've ever owned and it's a 2004 Ford Ranger XLT 2 wheel drive. stock tire size is 225/75/15 and it just looks pathetic. i want my truck to look more like some of the trucks on here. will a 255/75/15 fit on that rim or will i have to get beadlocks to get a tire size like that? any help would be appreciated!

My daughter is running a 1998 XL with 31x10.5x15's with minor front rubbing in street service. The truck looks GREAT with them on it.

I'm running 35's -- don't look at mine it might be too much of temptation and next you'll be wanting a lift....

ok well i didn't mean beadlocks maybe offroad rims then. but anyway, will i be scrubbing a ridiculous amount with the 31's? i just don't wanna tear up the front bumper, it just got out of the shop getting a new bumper, grill, fender, etc.
