tire squeal?

tire squeal?
im not sure if this is the right forum for this thread but anyways... on my way to school this morning i went around a corner and i was only doing about.... 12-15 mph? well i hear this squealing and i know it was from me cause i was the only vehicle near... but i couldnt figure out what it is/was... and it does it everytime i make a turn now too. but it doesnt do it like if i take off from a stop.. only if im already goin and take the turn. i dont think im going fast enough for my tires to be squealing. any ideas?

at first i thought the same thing cause i got the 8.8 with 4.10's and l/s. but idk. i should be gettin new tires soon hopefully. or whenever i can get money for em.

Front tires most likely with info provided. How is the alingment/camber? Most likely just the combo of tread/pressure/oil on road and amount of variant degrees your one front tire turns to the other creating resistance therefore sqealing your tires.

road paint
see if its the road paint they use to make stop sign lines and crosswalk lines with....they just started repainting all them in my town and now the tires squeal only when going around a corner never from taking off on them. it doesn't matter if its wet or dry conditions.

probably the white paint if its down on the road. if not, it may just be the fact that it is a heavily used road and if it is you may notice that the road is a bit shiny from the heavy traffic flow which causes tires to squeal every now and then.

When I make really sharp turns, the limited slip axle can make a little chirp, but it's mostly axle noise and not the actual tires.
Keep your tire pressure optimal and make sure you've got decent tires and you have nothing to worry about with a little squeal now and then.
Fundamentally, the Ranger is a rear wheel drive vehicle, regardless of whether you're 4x4 or 4x2...when you've got a heavy front end and a lighter rear end with power going to it, squeal happens. You'll find a lot more squeal in a 4.0 than a 3.0 than a 2.3/2.5
