Hey guys I have a 1998 ford ranger xlt 2wd with stock 14x6 inch rims, I am going to buy 15x8 inch rims to put 235 75 R15 tires on them. I have 225 70 R14 on them right now, do you think the tires I want to get will rub?

235 75 R15 = 29" tire
225 70 R14 = 26.5"
So 2.5" difference, I would say yes, they will rub
28" might be OK
The 4x4s that year used a 29" but they also came with 2" lifted suspension so had more clearance
