Top Speed of a 1993 ford ranger splash

its got a 4.0L V6 brand new transmission 5 speed manual. just wondering how fast this car really might be. the speed gauge only goes up to 85 but iv gotten it way beyond that.

I don't think it can reach 180 maybe 110 or somewhere around there.

you see, if you get big enough tires (54s) then lower the gear ratio to like 3.23 or something, you can trick the truck into thinking your only doin 90 but you'll be doing like 150+!

If the speed limiter is removed on a stock motor and you had a straight / flat stretch of *legal road to do this*.. it would be drag limited at about 125-130mph. The truck would get up to 110 pretty strong and then taper off as speed increases.

You're right, I forgot to ask what trans, R & P ratio and tire radius.
